Repurpose Your Clothes to Save the World
By TPL Programs
Clothes don’t fit you or your kids anymore? Got a stain or tear on a favorite shirt or pants? Don’t throw your damaged or old clothes away! Did you know it takes 2700 liters of water to produce the cotton needed to make one single T-shirt?
Join us in this fun workshop and learn how to fix or repurpose your clothing! Save money and learn more about our City's TransformTO climate action strategy and what you can do to help reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner.
Presented by Nita Goswami and Leah Yuyitung, members of the Woburn Local Planning Table members and City of Toronto Neighbourhood Climate Action Champions.
This virtual presentation is the Live & Online version of Toronto Public Library's Our Fragile Planet program series, supported by TD Friends of the Environment (TD FEF).
